Welcome to First Dance Memories...

Our company is designed to help engaged couples with what could be the highlight of their wedding reception, the first dance. We have the experience and the know how to assist in all phases of making your first dance something special. Founder and choreographer, Joshua Sturgeon, has been actively pursuing, teaching, and choreographing many styles of couples dancing for almost ten years now- long enough to know what he's talking about, yet recent enough to be current. We can also help with your music. Many couples today have more than one "our song". They have two or three and just can't choose which one to dance to. No problem. Music mixing (up to three songs) is included in our wedding package. And so is your choreography. We will choreograph and re-choreograph until you have a routine that you enjoy and that matches your personalities. And once you've learned your routine, we will give you a copy of the choreography on DVD so you won't forget anything before your big day. Don't want choreography? No problem. We can teach you some basic steps, turns, and dips that you can use whenever you'd like during your dance.

We offer a variety of other services as well including:

• portable dance floor rental
• on site group instruction for parties and weddings
• in home dance lessons
• private group instruction for just you and your friends
• long distance wedding packages (same concept as local wedding package, but everything is done through Internet and mail)
• dance host (comes to party and discretely gets guests dancing, helps to build a fun atmosphere)
